There shall be onsite activities such as Climbing, Archery and Tomahawk Throwing. A selection of Fun Fair Games, Christmas Arts and Crafts, a range of Gift/Craft Stalls for those last minute gift purchases and a variety of Food Stands.

Festive Fun Day
Event Details
There shall be two sessions that you can book onto for this event. These shall be between 10:00am - 1:00pm and 1:00pm - 4:00pm. Tickets shall be £14 per child (up to 18 years old) and £4 per adult, under 3's go free!
This shall be an event full of festive activities that your whole family can enjoy on a queue and do basis. The activities included within the ticket price will be:

Adventurous outdoor activities such as Climbing, Tomahawk Throwing, Bouldering and Archery.

A selection of Traditional Fun Fair Games including Hook A Duck, Tin Can Alley, Nerf Shooter, Hoopla and Bucket Ball.

You can partake in Christmas crafts, such as decoration making and s'mores.

There shall be picture opportunities with some Festive characters such as the Grinch, who shall be walking around site, giving out sweet treats.
There shall also be a range of Craft and Gift Stalls for you to browse and make those last minute purchases for presents for your friends and family. These will include: Stocking Fillers, Candles, Wax Melts, Diffusers, crochet animals and blankets, a variety of Jewellery and a selection of Giftware items.
To keep you warm and your tummies full there shall be a selection of food and drink vendors available for you to purchase from. These will include:
New Forest Tea Company - selling a variety of hot drinks and delicious cakes and bakes.
The Hungry Hut - selling hot food including burgers, hot dogs and chips. A sweet/candy floss stand, mulled wine, hot chestnuts and doughnuts.

terms and conditions
Ferny Crofts have implemented a few terms and conditions for the event in addition to our standard terms:

This particular event is open to Scout and Guide groups and the general public.

All attendance should be ideally booked in advance. However, we will accept bookings on the day. Upon arrival you shall be issued with a wristband which shall be checked throughout the day.

Full payment is required at the time of booking, and places are non-refundable.

Child Tickets are up to 18 years old. Under 3's go free.

All children attending the event must have adult pastoral carers present with them throughout the event.

NO dogs allowed on site

All other Ferny Crofts Terms and Conditions and Centre Rules still apply.
Event disclaimer

This event is open to the general public. Therefore, if you are a Scout or Guide group attending the day, please ensure that your Risk Assessments account for the fact that members of the public shall be on site at the same time.

We can not guarantee that individuals will be able to go on every single activity that will be available. We shall manage queues as much as we are able to. If there is a long queue for a particular activity move onto the next and come back to avoid waiting around and missing out altogether.

There is limited parking at Ferny Crofts. Therefore, we ask that where possible, you car share to reduce the amount of cars on site.

The site is located at the end of a gravel track, with only one gateway for cars arriving and leaving site. Therefore, the car park can get very busy and it is very likely that you may have to queue for a bit to get into site. We shall have a team of volunteers located within the car park, directing cars on where to park. Please follow their directions and park accordingly.

Please note that due to the time of year and the wet weather conditions we have been experiencing, the track is very bumpy!

There are onsite toilets that you shall be able to use throughout the event.

volunteers needed
CALLING ALL SCOUTS
To help us make the Festive Fun Day a success, we shall require a selection of volunteers to assist our staff throughout the day. We shall need people to help with a variety of jobs such as:

Running the Fairground game stalls.

Assisting within the Arts and Crafts area
-
Assisting within the car park during arrival times.
-
Catering will be provided throughout the event for all volunteers.
-
Camping is available. Any volunteers 18 and under must be accompanied by an adult leader.

Limited indoor accommodation will be available for any leaders and will be based on a first come first served basis when signing up.
